I thought Texas had the "MIC" law where they can give you the equivalent of an MIP if it's obvious you've been drinking but aren't physically holding a container. I'm surprised they didn't stick him with that also

In Texas you get a PI for having any detectable amount of alcohol on your person as a minor without a parent present.
