Tennessee fans love telling anyone who will pay attention about the great tradition of Tennessee football. Without mentioning the great traditional pansiness of Tennessee's football schedule. The part where Tennessee has insisted on playing Kentucky and Vanderbilt to close the season. Or at least ever since before World War Part 2.

Robert Neyland was legendary for his fiery pregame speeches. And his mastery of pansy scheduling. Truth be told, YOUR favorite SEC school would appear way cooler and have a much better all time winning percentage if it played Kentucky and Vanderbilt every year since before World War Part 2.

These days Kentucky and Vanderbilt are the great hope for Tennessee football fans. "Gosh darn it we might be 4-6 right now! But if we can beat Kentucky and Vanderbilt we can actually go to a bowl game for a frigging change!" The Beau Rivage Pilot Truck Stop Mouse Ear South Weedeater Bowl in Biloxi War Memorial Stadium. At 5:30 on Tuesday, Dec. 28.

One heartbeat!!!

Brick by Brick!!!

Win the day!!!

(Insert other corny grating Butch Jones desperate euphemisms HERE)

Fwiw here is Tennessee's record in the last 40 years if you take out the Kentucky and Vanderbilt games, beginning in 1974...

Everyone does this... I mean we play either an FCS school or Kentucky and then the Georgia School for the deaf and the blind.

You seem REALLY mad. Also, just to go with your theory about how UT's schedule works, you do realize that UGA plays UK and Vandy just the same. Does the timing really help UT that much?

Interesting time to make this thread considering we don't close the season with Vandy and UK this year.

Who the hell is this, first of all, and second of all, we suck. Why would anyone waste their time trolling us?

Why do you call it World War Part 2? It wasn't a sequel.

When is the last time UGA went to the West Coast and played UCLA, Cal, and Oregon. Are you going to Norman this year and playing Oklahoma. Try again when UGA actually leaves the South to play a decent OOC team.

UT is the king of the SEC in voluntary OC scheduling, it is a recognized fact on here.

You think they would beat UCF if that happened?

What a waste of bandwidth. We also play Florida in the second or third game every year - do we get credit for that? How many years has it been since Georgia scheduled a game west of the Mississippi? 100? 200? 300?
