While I agree that staying at 8 should be the status quo until it somehow shows its a negative w/the playoff committee (though I think FCS games should be banned), I just don't get the constant complaining about Florida as their permanent rival.

Going to a nine-game conference schedule buttfricks those of us that have OOC rivalries and/or schedule legit opponents OOC. UGA, USC, UK, UF, and even UTK should be against a nine-game schedule.

The only time I'm cool with I-AA opponents are when they're in-state. USC and Clemson both play Furman, Wofford, Citadel, SC State, etc., as a means to funnel some money to those schools' athletics budgets. I'm 100% OK with that. But scheduling an out-of-state I-AA program when they just started playing football, well, that's some bullshite.

It's not about Florida being our permanent rival. Yea, Florida is usually a better team than Tennessee every year but that isn't the complaint. bullshite like Georgia being replaced with Kentucky on Bama's schedule for 2013 only to make LSU now play Georgia is a fricking joke. And everybody knows it.

I'm glad A&M is in the West because Bama HAS to play them every year. They can't skate around them every year like they do Florida and Georgia. Fair is fair.
