How long until Pearl is fired?

Seriously, how long do we give him? We know you can't win in Basketball at Auburn, so how long do we wait until we move on? The expectations will be set sky high because of the name, but when we continue to lose, when does the plug get pulled? Fans are excited now because of the big hire, but there will be more disappointment than from Barbee. I say three years, four max.

Do you even have an inkling of what the frick you're talking about? Barbee underachieved even for the low standard AU has. AU has the potential to at least make the NIT every year, and the NCAA every few years.

What's this based on. Just a gut feeling. Because up until the misery that was how we played in the sec tournament you didn't have to look far to find folks willing to give barbee another year. I'm very confident in saying pearl is a better coach than barbee. So will he disappoint more than barbee because he will perform the same or because he'll do better but you're telling me that I'm going to to have unrealistic expectations and thus stay disappointed?
Or are you just a contrarian who sees someone enjoying something and has to try to quash the fun?
