we hire top HS HCs in the southeast to let them have an opportunity to become major college coaches...Bentley won't even be there when his son's signing day comes

forgive me or knowing more about the Arkansas program and seeing a connection between our two programs

malzahn wasn't at Arkansas long after nutt was able to sign the springdale 5

nutt just used him to get his players, kinda like what's happening to mr. bentley. I'm sure malzahn knew he was being used but he used it as a launching platform for his college career. Much like I'm sure mr. bentley will do.

which again leads me back to the point of my OP, that malzahn is applying lessons he learned from Nutt

gus was ready and willing to use (the players) and be used (by nutt)- 50/50, takes 2 to tango, yadda yadda...

Bentley will be there 2 years max...meaning there will be at least a year between his departure and his son having to sign a LOI

it's a combination of reading and math

This sounds like bitter jealously you have with Gustavo. Should try to worry about your own coach Bert. He is doing things the right way and you should be proud.

k so there's a slight difference between nutt's usage of malzahn and malzahn's usage of bentley.

the point still stands that there are similarities that show nutt's protégé is becoming more like him

nah. just calling a spade a spade

there's nothing wrong with gus looking out for his best interest. it just ends up hurting the people/programs he used many times

Arkansas fans are so bitter of Gus Malzahn's success at every stop. Meanwhile, the can't even muster mediocrity on the football field.

This is how college football is run now...you bring on as many off the field analysts as possible...sorry Bert is behind the times

what other teams do this?

they hire a high school coach that is currently coaching a recruit that school is recruiting

I'm genuinely interested in knowing. If you can point to other examples, that may disprove my point

Gus Malzahn is about to bend over Jen Bielema and go in so hard, dry, that Bret Bielema squeals like a little pig.
