My understanding is that she was passed out and didn't know what had happened. She was told by either the police or DA. I thought the case was based on the video evidence more than anything she had to add to it.

It's been a while since I read anything about it though.

I've read that much as well. But what's changed that she now suddenly believes she wasn't raped? Why is she so adamant now that nothing's happened? And if so, why did she let it go on so long without being vocal about it?

At the very least she has some things she needs to answer to.

When she it never happen it, it was with her initial talks with the police. She was passed out and woke up the next day unaware that any happened. She even had sex again with Vandenburg days later. They had been dating several weeks before the incident. They got caught because they bashed in the door to surveillance room trying to destroy video evidence from the hallway.

My remembrance of this case...

Video of a girl being carried into a players room by a few players. She was very very drunk. The girl had a train run on her. One of the players gets second thoughts and calls another player for advice. He tells him how to talk to police. physical evidence of different dudes in her. Multiple witnesses throughout (mostly other players I think. Also likely one of those witnesses alerted police in first place.). The campus police were alerted. The Nashville boys take it over (I forget the investigation unit's name). Arrests come over the next few days. There seems to be plenty of evidence with or without the victim giving evidence.
