What would happen if a HC came out as Gay?

Michael Sam broke ground by publically indicating he was gay. However, he did this at the end of his collegiate career. I suspect this will help any undergraduate players who are also gay in the future.
However, could the world handle a gay head football coach? The jimmy rustling would never end.

Really? I think the Alabama fan base would IMPLODE if the HC at Alabama announced he was gay. (not that theres anything wrong with that...)

I think Bama's fanbase would take it much harder. They've cornered the market on overzealous redneck trash, and the only thing that people like that hate more than democrats are the gays.

Yeah, I say that they would without question take it the most poorly if their head coach came out. They clearly have the dumbest fanbase of any college in the SEC. Not talking about the alumni, just the fans, where a sizable portion have never set foot in Tuscaloosa.
