I don't think it has a great impact on player safety.

However, I do enjoy defensive games and think this rule would do better to bring the defense and offensive back into more balance after all the targeting rules and such.

So I don't really care the reasoning behind it, I think it would make the game better all around. Too bad it won't get passed.

Which is fair, but I think the style of play should be up to the coach and not mandated by a rule.

I disagree. Even ignoring the HUNH aspect, it would limit a teams ability to make comebacks and make the games less exciting.

Of course, these are just our opinions and a fair debate to have now that we have stepped away from the player safety bs.

What is great about cfb today is that you can have different offenses being run bec different ppl like those different offenses.

You liked 9-6 Bama/LSU. I thought Bama/A&M this year was a better game.

There is far more inequality pre-snap against the offense then the defense. This proposed rule makes it more inequitable.
