Carimi, 6-7, 316 pounds, was originally selected by the Chicago Bears in the first round (29th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. He spent two seasons in Chicago seeing action in 18 games with 16 starts before being traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to the 2013 season. Carimi played in 14 games with three starts last season. He won the Outland trophy as the nation’s top interior lineman and was an All-America selection as a senior at Wisconsin.

Dude has been a major bust. I hope they don't expect this to be the be all fix for the OL.

He has a chance if he's surrounded by better players. Not looking likely at this point

Carimi took so much heat in Chicago I'm surprised his trade wasn't a request. Real serious problems for him while in Chi. No idea really how he played with Bucs.

Short answer. I'm not too fired up.

This made me

Hopefully he isn't the only OT we sign, because the guy so far is a backup at best.
Its bad when the coach who drafted you comes to your new team, and then immediately cuts you.

Konz and now this guy? Wisconson used to produce solid NFL O-linmen...not so much anymore.

He's pretty much been a busy since entering the nfl but we need all the bodies we can get at this point and we can sort them out later.
