Yes he does...... When you throw 3 interception all in the opponents field it hurts a team. And y'all still just about lost the game if y'all play like that we beat y'all by 40. OM wins 3 times in a decade and now LSU can't stop them we will see who's who in the next decade.

That's the most hyperbolic thing I've read today.

What was hyperbolic about it? Its the truth. I'm sorry if it doesn't support your cause. The number of fans at the small schools that win using it way outnumber the number of Bama fans that won't go to bama games if the rule is shot down.

And football fans
The fans from Bama and Arky, plus a couple other school are not comparable to the number from the ones for it. Also most fans like exciting games and not 3-0 games that drag out forever. Where if you get down by 10 early the game is over and boring.

The truth? It's ridiculous. There will be absolutely no money won or lost on this.

If you want to watch wind sprints there are some televised track meets I'm sure. Football fans want to watch football.

Gus averages 19 points a game on offense vs. Bama. He must be stopped!

You think as many fans of small schools go to games when they lose all the time or buy as much stuff? If small schools with less talent use it and win more people spend money on their teams. Even Bama fans wasn't going to games as much or buying stuff when Shula was there compared to now. That is money lost. Bama fans are going to go to games and buy their team stuff whether the rules passes or not. So there is no money gained by passing it.

Look around. The only people and fans supporting it are Bama and Arky fans. There are way more fans against it. Even the media is against it because how much more exciting it makes games. Look at the games people consider the most exciting. They are games like this year's IB, A&M games, Oregon games, etc. Not 7-0 or 3-7 games.

Leave it to saban to try to change the rules because it doesn't benefit his team.

What a sore loser.

This thread is nowhere close to a meltdown... the cheese is still hard.

Nick Saban is a coward?
Try "failure as a human being"

Geez, I'm almost feeling bad for Nick. Stop deifying the dude. Lots of sour grapes. The guy is a great college football coach and very human. This is not a man whose job is to make you feel life is fair because he coaches a bunch of man-boys to get territorial over 100 yards.

Please don't feel bad for him. If he was reading this (and he's not), I'll assure you that he'd be laughing his arse off over all the envy and jealousy spewed by the rest of the league. True fear is shown when fans of other schools behave in this manner toward another school and it's coach because they know he's coming, year after year, and they can't do anything about it. Most Bama fans enjoy the show. Carry on Tide!

It is not envy or jealousy, it is contempt for his lack of integrity.

Its sad how many times you bama fans talk about everyone else melting and showing fear but can't see that your coach is the one showing more fear and melt than anyone on this board. Melting on a message board is one thing but melting in front of the entire nation is another.

Ive said from the start of all this mess, that either give yourself the same advantage or shut up about the rules. If its within the rules then play ball. Ive always enjoyed watching up tempo offenses but there is nothing wrong with what bama has done the last few years and there is plenty of evidence to back it up. However, i feel like we should move towards it purely based that our defense wont be so shell shocked when they face it. Seems like most of the time when we go up against one we usually get behind then adjust to the tempo and then start slowing them down.

In international basketball, until about 25 years ago, on dead balls in the backcourt, the referee did not touch the basketball. Ref blew the whistle when the ball went out of bounds or if there was a violation, the other team could go run and throw the ball in and head the other way even if the defense wasn't ready. And the defense couldn't substitute, even though the whistle blew. Should U.S. basketball go back to that rule? This just makes football similar to basketball in that each team is allowed to substitute on every whistle.

Well you are one of the few Bama fans with that mindset. The problem now is there are mostly pro style offenses and a few HUNH teams. So most defense are built to handle the pro-style. As more teams start running HUNH and more teams start building defenses to handle it. Then teams will try something different and the Defense will have to adjust to it just like it has throughout history. The HUNH now is no different and shouldn't have rules changed to help stop it because coaches are lazier than in the past.

Reading these post are absolutely hilarious but my God Bama fans have got to be the most RETARD bunch of them all.....LOL! Just try reading the Bama fans defending their evil midget, they would eat the shite out of his a-hole if he told them to, it's more than an obsession with this little coward. What will this bunch do after their LORD leaves? I'm thinking mass suicides out of the state of GUMPVILLE.
