You can watch the First 48 and see that almost every murder case on there came from the West End of Louisville when we're featured.
Sans maybe Detroit, you can manage to not get shanked in most large cities if you're not a dumbass when you're in certain high-crime areas.

It's fun to hang out in high crime areas though. I'm not dead yet and I do it on the reg.
