SECRant Power Rankings Committee wants YOUR ranking

So, Semo and I were talking the other day about the Basketball Power Rankings, thinking maybe they could use a little mid-season shake-up. We know there are basketball fans out there who want their opinions to be heard. In fact, we hear from you every Tuesday. So here's your chance. We decided to add a new component to the weekly Power Rankings: The SECr Guest Vote.
This is how it'll work. Every Sunday either Semo or I will start a thread on the SECr offering you (if you wish to participate) the opportunity to submit your 1-14 ranking of the SEC Men's Basketball teams. And if you want to go the extra mile you can write a brief comment about your team. If you don't want your vote to be public, you can email me your vote (my email is on my profile).
Of all the reasonable rankings submitted, we will randomly select 2 each week to use in the PR. We will announce each week's winners in the PR each Tuesday.
Deadline for your submission is this Monday @ 6:00PM CT
If this works like we think it will, then we will continue to do this in the upcoming weeks and possibly for the PR for the other sports.
In the immortal words of Nicholas Lou Saban, we "'preciate your interest" in the ranking. And, as always, if you have any questions, GTFO.

You probably could do a google doc and have them put their name on there. Would be easier to tabulate the rankings using excel

We've looked into it but it's easier the way we have it now.

1. Florida
They are leagues best team, but their offense scares me when it comes to a potential NCAA tourney run. I think they leave Oxford with a victory, but it won't be an easy one. They pick up their first loss Saturday @ Rupp.
2. Kentucky
Easily the league's second best team. They seemed to have gotten past the slow starts that plagued them for the first half of conference play, but still are terrible in transition defense. When Cauley-Stein plays at a high level they will blow you out, but when he disappears the defense falls apart. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more zone when he goes out.
3. Ole Miss
4. Arkansas
5. LSU
6. Tennessee
7. Mizzou
This group of teams can't really separate from each other. All of these teams lack consistency.
Arkansas is the only one of the group who didn't pick up a loss, and finally got one on the road.
Mizzou is difficult to rank because they have lost 3 straight, but to all good teams.
Ole Miss is going to struggle against size, but they have some of the best guard play in the league, especially when Hendo gets hot.
LSU didn't have a great week. They lost to UGA and struggled at home against a bad Auburn team. The defense was suspect against UGA.
8. Vandy
9. Georgia
These two are slightly better than these teams behind them
10. Mississippi State
11. Auburn
12. Alabama
13. TAMU
14. South Carolina
These teams are terrible. MSU seems to be at least decent at home.

Anyone who doesn't put us last is stupid.
