cut next season? i dont see how they signed that many recruits. something fishy is going on in knoxville. ive seen with my own eyes boosters giving recruits families "care packages" at the teams hotel. lame...

Tennessee has garbage instate talent. they will do anything to land top talent. good thing those hicks dont pull recruits out of south carolina anymore

That's not as much the case as it was a decade or two ago. There was a pretty good crop of Tennessee players we snagged this year.

23 of 24 seniors are scheduled to graduate in December. We got this covered.
Besides that, rival fans still not realizing that attrition devastated Kiffin's one class and all of Dooley's leaving only a handful of players despite that fact being pointed out numerous times is rather hilarious. Our lack of depth has been pointed out by announcers and commentators for the past four years -- that should've been your first clue regarding our roster. Graduating both lines should've been another.

Yeah the 5* TN RB and 5* TN WR along with their 4* TN friends sure are awful. I can't believe Jones signed them.
To add insult to injury our silly staff made sure that Tennessee signed more in-state prospects than any other SEC school this year -- you can tell they're awful by how little press our class has gotten. Posted on 2/8/14 at 6:50 pm to MPH33RD

If I had to make a guess he's either (a)knows nothing about CFB/has been following it for about 4 years max (b) is a troll who supports either Mizzou/A&M and doesn't know enough about UT to pull this off or supports an OOC team who doesn't realize how top recruiting classes are nothing new for us and that this isn't a believable enough trolling job to rile anyone up (c) a combination of all of the above.
Dooley was just that incompetent and even he managed respectable classes and a few gems and longtime South Carolina fans have never been the type to underestimate us on the recruiting trail.

Ready for the ESPN OTL about the kid that they try to greyshirt showing how dirty they are.
My favorite OTL was the "where are they now" episode where they showed Elliot Porter coming BACK from Kentucky to play for the evil Les Miles who asked him to greyshirt and then becoming the starting center and most likely being headed to the NFL.
Or, the one where they showed the QB that we let go (Chris Garrett) who got fat and couldn't even play for an FCS team and just disappeared.
Don't worry, Tennessee, your oversigning will be on OTL soon.
Oh wait . . . what? It won't? Sorry. I guess that the hatchet jobs on recruiting are only reserved for LSU.

ESPN Top 300 recruits for 2015
11 from TN, 8 from SC. Beating out state of SC back-to-back 2014 and 2015.
Thanks to talent rising in Metro Nashville area, TN instate talent has surpassed MS and SC. AL is next.

Since he and his father have been thrilled about that opportunity from the start (he was an overlooked 2* when we offered the gray shirt and told him if the numbers worked out he'd get a scholly but if not we wanted him to prep) the OTL will be about how no one other than Butch Jones gave him a chance. Oh and that kid is set to arrive in next Jan as an EE.
That same gray shirt kid only just turned 17 and started school early. He's also going through a growth spurt and would've redshirted had a scholly come open which would've been a waste since he's a kid who has been playing above his own age group he'll have a great chance of getting PT in 2015 when his body catches up to his talent.
The OTL about Jerome Dews' career at UT will be very good indeed.
