Concealed carry now available in Chicago. Probably not getting shot unless you're stupid enough to go to the south or west sides. Don't look like a stupid tourist and you're fine.
Generic is a term I've never heard used in describing Chicago.

Typical Texan attitude. I've spent months in Texas. I've spent time in Chicago. Chicago is better than anything in Texas and it really isn't even close.
Most people don't venture onto the Southside.
