Wouldn't 11-1 be a run-rule...or is that only on Sunday and tournament games?

The run rule was a Big 12 rule. The SEC doesn't have it, but there are still rules in place on Sunday that no inning can start after a certain time so that the visiting team can make their commercial flight home.
We also, sometimes, have a run rule in effect for mid-week games. That's something that the two head coaches agree on before the game starts.

Didn't know the run rule was a Big 12 rule, that's interesting. I remember it was used against several non con opponents while I had season tickets. Was that just an agreement between the teams before games?

I like Money Ball (the book - haven't seen the movie), but I don't think that Sabermetrics applies very well to small ball and the NCAA.
Moneyball is definitely worth your time, especially for those who enjoyed the book. The movie found a way to make the subject matter entertaining to the masses and was nominated for 6 Academy Awards but like Billy Beane and the A's, the filmmakers ultimately came away empty-handed.

This.
I'm not a baseball fan at all and I enjoyed the film immensely.

Great movie. Jonah Hill nailed it, should have won an Oscar.

Yes, and it's not something that they tell the fans before the game, so it makes for odd baseball (i.e. fans not having a clue why the last inning was played a certain way).
The last nine years I had season tickets, they were in the 2nd row behind with visitor's dugout. If we were lucky, someone in there would tell us about it before the last inning.

Oh, and in case any of you missed it, tomorrow's game has been moved up an hour to 12:05. That's to allow Northeastern time to catch their flight home.
I'm going to spend the day in St. Louis.

We sat directly underneath Dave South's booth and we're able to hear most of his broadcast so we generally had an idea if the games were going to end early. If anybody listened to our games 10-15 years ago and we're annoyed by a teenager screaming at the top of his lungs, I apologize.

I wish, Bloom tweeted that. Coach Price just tweeted another good one:
