I also wasn't considered a risk for UA to admit. We are supposed to believe that the university did their homework on Taylor when they neither spoke to the DA who has all the information on the domestic violence case nor spoke to the coach who had him on roster for two years and decided to kick him off the team.

Plus it sounds like we've been recruiting Taylor for awhile. I think it's easy to behave oneself when you are under the microscope for a short period of time. What happens when that microscope is lifted and he is back to being a normal college student? Will he revert back to old habits?

Who said the microscope is going to be lifted? Him having to do volunteer work is an example of it not being lifted.

You're still melting about this and convincing yourself that he is going to be allowed the same freedoms as anyone else. You seem like a smart enough person to realize that Saban isn't just going to let this kid loose on campus to do whatever he wants whenever he wants.

Don't need specifics on the case. We know what happened. It's deplorable.

He's a giant human who assaulted a woman. No excuse.

I think the hope is that maybe he came from a bad situation. Obviously there was a disconnect in societal behavior

Maybe he had anger issues. Who knows.

Here's the thing though, he's here now. This can go one of two ways. He could end up being a piece of shite, in which case he'll be gone and you can say "told ya so".

OR, he could turn his life around because of our infrastructure and become a better man, who doesn't beat women, because of us. And I think that's more likely. But either way, he's in now. It's done
