I just got home. I have seen some awful accidents, cars sliding into each other, sliding into poles, cars upside down, anything you can think of. It took me 9 hours to go 20 miles home.
But one thing I learned is that if you have a 4x4 with limited slip you and the mother fricking KING of the road in this shite. I went through a frozen muddy road with a huge incline that was "closed" with cars piled up all along the side and powered through it like a champ.

Thousands are still stranded here in ATL. I seent it. Wrecks and all...
Over 1,000 wrecks in the metro as of right now... some stuck in traffic for 12+ hours.

Praise god LA doesn't get snow. I shudder at what it would be like trying to drive around there in those conditions

I can't beloved how bad people in the south are at driving in the snow and ice. It's really not that difficult. We are the people that drive the most, but we have the worst drivers.

It took my wife 2 hours to drive the 2 miles home from work. She's in my old beater 4WD Dodge. She locked it in 4WD and threw it in 1st gear and drove that thing around like a tank. Said the worst part was all the idiots trying to drive in their non 4WD vehicles.
