He has family ties to the University of Tennessee. He has a girlfriend that goes to a small college in St. Louis, which is near where his mom lives and obviously fairly close to Mizzou. His family wants him at UT though.

It is pretty unlikely he ends up anywhere other than Tennessee.

Coach Kul is the best DL coach in the country. Hands down. Brings anything from 2* to 5* to the first round.

Numbers don't lie. Check the scoreboard.

Do you guys have 5 scholarship DEs? We do. I would hope your depth chart isn't any "smaller"

We have 1 SEC caliber DE with Corey Vereen who saw limited action last year with an injury and limited playing time as a TF , 1 the jury is still out on in SR Jordan Williams, and then the guys Dooley recruited.

So, at this point, I'd say it's safe to say we have 1 1/2 SEC caliber DEs, thanks to Dooleys ineptitude. For better or worse, minimum one out of Hendrix, Barnett, and Henderson will more then likely see playing time next year.

We shall see. Seems odd a guy so in love with UT would even take another visit, especially to a school he's already visited?

It sounded to me like he appreciates Pinkle showing interest in him and he respects his mom enough to triple check the box that UT is where he wants to be. He's an 18 year old kid with an all expenses paid tour. Nobody is going to blame him for taking it, so why not?

What's this with his family moving? They get a nice new condo in Knoxville and a job at a local bank?

The real question is if Hendrix commits this weekend does Pinkel cancel Barnett's visit on the 31st?

Taking an OV to Mizzou means he has interest in Mizzou IMHO FYI LOL. Also probably helps that the women in his life seem to really like Mizzou.

Interest is not the same as decommitting from his current school and committing to Mizzou. I think it's great that he has enough interest to come visit, but not every kid that has interest or visits commits to Mizzou, much less decommit from a current school in order to commit to Mizzou.

I'd love to be wrong, but I doubt we flip him. Sounds like he's pretty committed to Tennessee.

I think we have a better chance to flip Dante Sawyer, tbh. We were in his top 2 with SC, and he committed to SC. But he's still taking an OV to us next weekend along with 2 other guys from his high school, one of whom is already committed to us. We also have a shot at Poona Ford, who cancelled his visit to SC this weekend.

Yeah it's down to Mizzou and Texas for Poona. I expect him to follow Strong though to Texas.

It appears that the Tigers are going to have a couple more secret OVs this weekend from players committed to other schools. Tennessee fans, have you heard any rumors of other Tennessee commits that are looking around? It would probably be DL, DB, or WR.
