ust like most LSU fans think they have the best everything.
I went to the LSU/Miss St series last season in Starkville for my first visit to baseball games there. I was very disappointed in the stadium. I had expected much better based on Miss St's baseball reputation for attendance and fielding quality teams.
I did like the tailgaiting just beyond the outfield fence during the game. That is unique for all of college baseball and does add to the venue.
But the stadium itself is run down and dirty.
BTW, LSU took the series, 2-1. (And, yes, I know Miss St made it to the championship series in Omaha.)

The rest, playing surface, outfield fence littered by advertisements, etc. etc. is what I said is meh. You please explain to me how what you have in those departments are any better that what everyone else has. Please. I'll wait.
Our playing surface looks great all season. And there have been new improvements with the addition of turf in all the foul ground which should look good. The bleachers in the outfield do kinda upset me. But they do have backs. I'm a season ticket holder in the grandstand but I have say in the outfield on numerous occasions and it doesn't bother me at all. You can kinda stretch out. No set seats. Not great. I'll admit. But not a reason why we aren't the best. We have a new stadium that looks great and really has a clean appearance. Unlike state.

I'd say closer to 10-12. There's 5-6 located both in the L & R outfield walls.

Sec logic states that ads=lesser stadium as a whole. Therefore state is out of this argument.

Yeah no one likes that shite. Every major publication you read that talks about college baseball will go about like this, no matter where they rank us in the top 10.

MSU’s baseball home has evolved into the nation’s largest campus facility for college baseball and what many regard as the sport’s finest all-around baseball complex.

I've already seen the facility master plan unveiled by Long. Should be nice

No need to name a best.
The conference is home to many gems.
For obvious reasons, we're each partial to our own venues;
and with few exceptions, it's understandable why.
God bless college baseball.

No State fan will tell you we have the best Stadium. Hell I just said ITT that we don't have the best stadium, but we are about to either do a complete rebuild or a 30+ million dollar renovation. shite.

Again, pretty much everyone does this now.
So like I said, everything else is pretty much average except the facade which I said was second to none. Please pull your head out of your arse and read this last sentence and maybe you won't be so offended by my statements.

So if everyone has the same seating and playing surface but we have a much better looking stadium according to many other fan bases. We have the best stadium right?
Posted on 1/18/14 at 11:34 am to TIGERNATION031
Not counting Blue Bell since it's basically in its own category, I'd say the top 3 are USC, LSU, and Arky.

Baum has more premium seating, as does USCe.

We have one of the best TM schools in the country and we invented a new type of grass that is used in many professional sports fields across the country. Ours is better. Yours is nice I'm sure, but ours is better. Let it go.

So, No.

If I were to rank every stadium based on atmosphere, design, playing surface, capacity, fan support it would look something like this.
1A.South Carolina
1B.LSU
1C.Arkansas
4.Ole Miss
5.Mississippi St
6.Texas A&M
7.Vanderbilt
8.Auburn
9.Tenessee
10.Georgia
11.Kentucky
12.Alabama
13.Florida
14.Missouri
Again just my opinion

You state fans have one season lately that has been great. And you think you're Gods gift to baseball. Dear God it's disgusting.
