The point of the thread--which clearly flew right over dense skull--is that all social media modes would have broken the moment JFF stepped foot on the field wearing something similar.
Your thread would have maybe a hint of legitimacy if he hadn't been criticized in the past for the cleats, plus your thread infers enough to conclude intent.

For the record ... I'd never seen a previous story about the cleats.
Auburn fans--for obvious reasons--are probably much more tuned-in to such information.
