Why is everyone so fixated on the negatives of Kiffin? He has plenty of positives as well. See 05/06 at USC. His single year at Tennessee the offense jumped from 3200 yards the year before his arrival to 4900 yards in his only year at TN. 2010/2011 at USC weren't awful offensively either. Sure it's fun to bash, it's ok to be concerned, but it's equally important to be realistic. The guy isn't some blowhard when it comes to offense.

Matt Barkley improved each of his first two years under Kiffin and would have been a first round pick after his Jr season. He dropped some his senior year, mainly interceptions though. He still had his second highest QB rating that year though.

It's easy to spot the negatives because that's all that's ever been around him. He's a clown show. Everything about him. You give him credit for 2005. A year in which he had 2 heisman trophy winners on an NFL offensive roster that had already been coached by Chow and Sarkesian. This cat is a coattail rider in every sense. I'll permanently bam myself if Kiffin is a success at Bama.

Because they hope he fails just like they all prayed Saban was going to Texas. Their hope that their team can beat UA has diminished and all they have left is for UA to somehow beat itself.
