Gus is an offensive genius, so you can only study so much before it becomes a detriment to your gameplan when he throws out some new shite on you. My main point is this:

That's something that you don't normally see teams do. Hell, normally going 4-2 or so is a GREAT year in close games, but Auburn seemed to win every close game they were involved with. There's just absolutely no way to maintain that.

Agreed, but look at the Auburn that beat TAMU, MSU and Washington State vs. the Auburn that scraped by UGA and Alabama. Huge difference.

Yes, I agree that if we need the breaks to beat UA or UGA next year, it's quite possible we won't get them. But I don't anticipate needing last minute heroics to beat WSU, TAMU or MSU level teams next year.

I expect we'll lose 1-2 to UGA/Alabama/LSU with the potential to drop another.

Every good team wins close games even 09 Alabama had some close calls that they had to overcome.
