I can't express to other fanbases how amazing this season has been as an Auburn fan. A NC trophy would have been icing on the cake, but as a football fan Auburn's team gave us two of the "once in a lifetime" type of endings that every one of us football fans always have hope in seeing your team pull off.

It has really made me rethink about what it is that I hope for as a fan. I used to think that winning it all was the end all be all of being a football fan, but I realize that it is not necessarily the case. My elation during the UGA and the IB overshadowed my reaction to winning it all in 2010 (and that was huge).

I really hope that other fanbases get to have even one of the experiences that we have had this year. It will make you realize why you love this game, your team and your school so much.

Jebuz Christ, have some self-respect and pride you delusional nitwit. AU gave up the biggest lead in BCS history to an ACC team.
I didnt believe it before but I am now convinced that Auburn truly is a cult.

You seem to have mistaken "cult" and "family". If it was a cult, I'd be scared to go sit in the student for a Vandy-Auburn game, but I wouldn't be. I feel like I could still have a great time, win or lose, without things getting hostile. For that reason, I can sit in Jordan-Hare, the Rose Bowl, or any other stadium and support Auburn athletics alongside the other members of the Auburn Family as long as they are not facing Vandy.

After suffering through last season, this was an incredible experience with the family. I wish the crystal was coming to the Plains, but going from worst to first in the best conference in college football is one hell of an accomplishment. So until February 22nd, Anchor Down and War Damn Eagle
