What are you talking aout? Boykin, Davis, Johnson, and Houston were all just as studly in college. If there's a gripe, it's that we weren't able to consistently surround them with comparable talent (except for Davis, anyway).

Actually I see our condition as a combination of both. Some of our better players have definitely performed better in the pros vs college. But I agree that their supporting cast was a significant part of the problem that prevented players like Stafford, Moreno, Green and MoMass, who all played together, from winning a championship. I conclude that Richt has not been good at building complete teams; there always seems to be significant deficiencies that have prevented championship contention. Not maintaining a full roster due to not accounting routine attrition has certainly contributed to that lack of support/depth.
