Where was the evidence of those recruiting classes?
Alabama missed 5 of their last 6 field goal attempts. Cornerback has been an issue for the past two seasons. When will the defense stop declining? When will the offensive line meet the standard again?

According to many LSU fans they were going to win by 50 vs Iowa. A 7 point victory could be evidence of a decline?

Well not many other upper level schools lost 2 games in a row this past year. So ,Yeah I'd say it is a good bet.

The conference as a whole declined this season.
