JFF will be Tebow 2.0.
1) most small QBs don't do well in the pros (brees is the exception)
2) dual threats usually don't transfer well into the NFL. RGII had one good year but that is going down, one of the best dual threat QBs in the last 10 years played like crap in the NFL. Don't get me started on geno smith I could go on
3) just based on his passing ability he is far from the best QB in college. Sure his feet do many things for him but QBs who can't throw well but can run don't do well in the NFL.

Howso?
"Receiver in the vicinity"? (if the vicinity was Brooklyn, NY)
No holding calls AT ALL?
No PI calls AT ALL?

You are selling him wayyyyyyyyy short. He throws a very accurate ball. His arm is much stronger than Tebow's and the ball gets out of his hand much quicker than Tebow's.

Yeah. Mack Brown didn't want him either. Mack still has a job if he signs the greatest QB in college football history.

Dude completed 68% last year and 69% this year.
when he can't run around everywhere he struggles, he can pass it well but he isn't a passing QB

Also Cam and Kaep aren't dual threat? Alex Smith?
Posted on 12/31/13 at 11:15 pm to catholictigerfan
The retard threw for 3700+ two years in a row, completed at a 69% clip this year and had 500 less rushing yards this season.

It'd been funny if you'd said Duke got screwed hardcore in the end.

Cam
Cam has gotten better when he passes more and runs less
plus cam's stats haven't been great this year but he has made clutch plays and his defense is great
Kaep (I guess you are talking about Kaepernick) is good sure but he is carried by his defense he has made some good plays but he is far from being a great QB. They aren't flukes sure but they aren't the difference between being great and horrible
Johnny may be good but I think there is a better chance he will won't be good.

He gets in the vicinity which is more than good enough with a corps WRs/TEs who are total mismatches against college defenders. His passes are strong and mostly catchable. I don't think he's doomed to fail or destined to be non-passing QB but he's work in progress for passing in the league. I'd want him to learn behind someone, Peyton's got just enough time left to where Denver would be a good spot for him sit for a while and learn to from a master but I don't know that they'd want to put a high pick in on a QB to develop or go for a more immediate team need. Any team in a situation where they can sit and develop him would be a great spot.
I think he's a great College QB and has a better chance than Tebow ever did. He just needs a little development.

Tebow and Johnny only real share being a 'unique' College QB in common. They were both one of a kind for their time. When I say accuracy I mean that literally -- not whether a ball is completed, not whether it's catchable but where it's actually placed. He's not hitting as many bullseyes as he should and can if he's given a chance to develop that aspect of his game. I agree he's got a way stronger arm than Tebow that's why he needs development (I wrote Tebow off as never making it in the pros long before he was drafted while at the same time conceding he was one the best college QBs of his time).
Manziel has the talent to do what Tebow never had the talent to do.

Cam still scrambles to convert 3rd downs but what he does now is win, stats be damned.
