Agree with most of those. I'd go with Tennessee as most disappointing team though.

Remind us not to schedule anyone with a pulse and outside of the state of Kentucky next year.

Who else could they really pick there? UK was the only logical choice.
Tennessee might be the only other team that has disappointed but they didnt start the season in the limelight as #1.
EDIT - I guess Alabama would have been a good choice too, but once again, they didn't have much expectations coming into the season.

Vanderbilt maybe? Depends on if they consider their players going full retard in the off-season and blowing a solid chance for a decent run in conference in what they would've had returning.
Like I said though, disappointment is a bit much when they've only lost to Top 15 teams and just beat the #6 team in the country last night.

Vanderbilt was picked 10th in the SEC preseason by the media...so no, definitely cant say they have disappointed.

You've lost more games than people (general population) were expecting. When you have that #1 ranking, people just expect more.

After suspensions and departures were announced.

Sorry the gen pop is dumb. I'd expect more from knowledgable basketball people.

You were #1, with that ranking comes top expectations, when you dont meet them, here's the backlash. You've lost 3 games to this point, it was definitely coming.

Luckily mid-season accolades don't mean dick come March I suppose.

Vandy is having a good season thus far. We will win many conference games and perhaps make a run at the NCAA. Bank on it.

Yeah...no

I'd rather not "bank on it". I don't know that Stallings has ever made it past the Sweet 16 at Vandy with better squads.

Meh, I know going into the season I was hoping UK would roll MSU, Baylor, NC and whoever else they played in OOC. Losing those games isn't a knock on the team because the losses were to quality teams and UK is just so young again, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed that they lost those games. If the SEC is going to improve its perception nationally, arguably it's just important for the top SEC teams to beat the top teams from the B1G and Big 12 and ACC as it is for the bottom of the conference to pick it up. UK/MSU and UK/NC games are going to garner more attention and establish perceptions more than Vandy beating Georgia Tech.

If the SEC is going to improve it's perception it's going to take teams not named Florida and Kentucky to win in OOC. It has a lot less to do with the top then it does everyone else.

You're the one telling us to bank on a Vandy tournament run when Stallings is one of the biggest tournament choke artists in the conference.

It's unfortunate for UF they had the personnel losses to start the season otherwise they'd probably be 10-1 right now at worst

The swamps of Atlanta?
Vandy just has no impressive wins yet. Beat SLU then we might start talking.

We beat y'all in New Orleans two years ago to win the Conference title didn't we? And by the way, that home-cooking crew sure helped Kentucky beat Louisville yesterday.
