It rang true to me. Bama and LSU are essentially passing on him because they have better prospects that fit their systems better. That he's "stiff" and not a priority for either. That he may have peaked early and garnered a lot o attention based on his potential, but that other players surpassed him over time.
He is now said to be reaching out to Ohio State, but it's a dead period. Basically, FORGET EVERYTHING YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS.

I think the "truest" nugget in this is that we're all in for Adams: If we only get one, we want it to be Adams. I don't see us passing on Hootie though.
I guess time will tell. If Hootie hasn't committed to us by Jan 2 then I guess Ponamsky's right?

Adams is a free safety, Hootie is more suited as a strong safety. They don't play the same position.
