God bless that kid for ALWAYS showing up and ALWAYS being angry after a loss. I'm not saying he's the only one , but he wears his emotions on his sleeve without it affecting is game and I love that about him.

1st Team All-SEC

But more importantly:

1st Team All-American.

DO IT, PREWITT!

I remember back when he signed with us we were wondering what we were gonna do with him, unsure he could earn a spot somewhere. Way to go Cody

Kid is the most intense and focused player on the team. Kinda reminds me of Kobe that time Chris Rock was cracking jokes and the guy didn't crack a smile.

Think about how good his stats would be if he didn't drop a few of those picks

But seriously.. He is one of our best. I'm happy everyone else realized how good he has become

He Quickly became my favorite player last year and has yet to let me down. He's also a scholar and a gentleman. Seriously, he is a hell of a nice guy.

I wanted access to ask you guys a question...

I would get kind of mad watching some OM games and they would list RN as an impact player and not mention Prewitt... For some reason this upset me. Probably just on sheer principle.

Did it upset you guys?

Prewitt is a baller and has been since he was a true fresh.

Congrats on the first team All-American.

Cody Prewitt not being recognized on TV has been a shame all year. They've been foaming over RN and completely ignoring Prewitt, who was WAY more important to our defense.

Any thoughts on Prewitt leaving THIS year? He definitely had a great year and I'm not sure how it could get any better for him personally next year. Anyone heard of him possibly declaring?

With the year he just had I could see there being rumblings, but I haven't heard either way. I really hope he stays though, we need him back there 1 more year, and if he has another year like this one he could be our first Thorpe winner ever.

If you dont believe me you can check my post history because I called that was going to be a stud during the Vandy game and he continued to impress me all season.

He's a great tackler but he still struggles in coverage at times. He could come back and really work and focus on that.

Last year during the A&M game my eyes were gradually getting wider as I saw the talent and potential in Prewitt. I started drawing Polamalu comparisons in my mind due to his ability to find the football and his straight passion for the game.

I can't find the quote right now but I loved after the Vandy game his comment on his hit against JM...it was something like "I put just about everything I had into that hit and for him to recover and get back in the game says a lot about his character."

I like the guy. Hope the best for him.
