We are lucky if any of our Dawgs are in Terry. I double majored in Sport MGMT, because it's frickin insanely easy, and 95% of our team is in there. And that's for a reason

So what degrees are offered from auburn that would make someone turn down the HOPE and free tuition at Georgia?

So only poor people go to Georgia for government handouts. Got it.

Seriously? Yes, I admit, it would be nice for the college football world to have some modicum of reliable policing. As it is, I have only a fellow alum in Mike Slive to blame for the SEC's drive for the almighty dollar to supercede every other slightly more altruistic raison d'être.

Government handouts? it's called the lottery.

I don't play it, personally. But if other people want to throw their money away so my kids can get an education....have at it.

Not a damn thing. Real easy to add to your existing major though and instead of taking finance elective you take shite like "Contemporary issues in Sport"

Even then you should have heard some of our players bitch about the work. I considered those classes like study hall while players and girls completing their MRS degrees bitched about having to give 10 min presentations

UGA does have a good law program though. It is weird that Bama is giving it a run, but I don't think it'll last.

Every time someone buys a lotto ticket I thank them in my head for saving us some serious change. Papa DGD was soooo happy when I transfered back home

And he cringes when that AU bill comes each year

They really do and they have an incredible facility. I was teetering on going into law but right now I have backed off but that's when I discovered that Bama's is right up there. Hopefully you're right but right now UGA is focused on building up Terry and for good reason. I started off at Smeal college of business and it seriously blows Terry out of the water. Badly. Like embarrassingly bad so I am glad UGA is building a new campus for Terry.

I'd blame the supreme court case in '84 when UGA and OU got the courts to take away the NCAA's ability to limit TV exposure.

SEE, I DID LEARN SOMETHING IN SPORT MGMT

I can imagine. I was lucky. My wife and I started putting money away when our kids were born and my daughters was completely paid for with Hope and the money we put away...and my sons was almost completely paid for. Just had to take a little out of pocket for him.

Daughter went to UGA. Was in their Honors Program. Son to Georgia State.

Honestly, I have long since given up on the NCAA. However, the politics of the SEC at the conference level are simply disturbing.
