It's funny because if Saban were at Texas and was said to be going to Alabama, you'd be eating that nonsense up and being your typical self-entitled BAMA self.

Inside Texas' Jesus Shuttleworth, whose weekly column has grown a cult-like following, was the first to report on Nick Saban's agent Jimmy Sexton speaking with Texas regents nine months ago. He also was one of the first to report about Texas' athletic director DeLoss Dodds end-of-year retirement. Suffice it to say, his credibility remains unquestioned.

There is no way Saban goes anywhere. Even doubling his salary. Alabama is the place he wants to be and everyone else in the college football world wants to be.

How do we know he still wants to be there?

Saban could view Bama as just another stepping stone because if he does it again in Austin the man becomes immortal becoming undoubtedly the greatest college coach ever. I mean, in many people's eyes he is already. When you look at Texas it's another sleeping giant with deep pockets. If Saban passes on moving to Austin then he is probably going to finish his career at Bama.

My feeling is that Saban has accomplished everything he really wanted to at Bama. He isn't the guy that stays for 10 years at one school. The move just makes so much sense on the surface.
