UA doesn't need the money and support from central and south Arkansas any more. They feel like there's enough in NWA now.
They do, however, want recruits from those areas, but look for those recruits to start drifting away also.

Why would an 18 year old care? If they've grown up hog fans, it won't matter where the games are played.

I was born and raised in Little Rock. I'm 21. I hate War Memorial Stadium. Had to play in it in High school, it's a dump. It's a nice change of pace compared to playing other in other high school stadiums, but if the alternative were playing at DW Reynolds, I'd pick Fayetteville in a heartbeat. Even growing up, I hated that we played games in Little Rock. I've never been a fan of the stadium. I can tell you that my generation doesn't give a frick about WMS.

I fail to see how UA making a financially prudent move is equivalent to UA becoming a regional university. You seem to be the only one with this perspective, care to explain?

Alabama doesn't play games in Mobile but I saw quite a few red script As on front license plates. How do they manage that?

I'm from central Arkansas, over 35, and think the games should be in Fayetteville.

This is complete nonsense though. 60% of tickets bought for games in Fayetteville are purchased from central Arkansas zip codes.

NWA money > Central Arkansas money

Also nonsense, the per capita income in the central Arkansas counties is higher than the NWA
counties. Household income is higher in the white flight central Arkansas counties than in the NWA counties as well

This is true. Although they tried pouring money into new mid town development, Little Rock hasn't been able to reinvent that area. I wouldn't live in Little Rock but if I was forced to it certainly wouldn't be anywhere east of 430. (No offense to you Hillcrest folks, I'm a little too much of a country boy for that area)
