At least according to this guy from Business Insider: LINK
He primarily lists as his reasons:
We are rich as hell.
We play in the SEC.
We are from Texas which has the most quality players.
Personally I think this is an overstatement but the guy is from Iowa so he doesn't have any bias toward us.

It's probably in the top 10 after the move to the SEC. But LSU, Alabama and Auburn will always recruit at a high level, too.

I don't think it is the best job in CFB, but the article makes a lot of good points as to why A&M > USC
