Mizzou has a ton of in-state talent and can now lock more of those kids down with the draw of SEC membership.

Didn't our 7-5 Rebels beat the dog frick out of your 9-3 (1 loss in the Big 12) Texas Longhorns in Austin?

How many big 12 championships did mizzou win in the history of the conference? I think "loser" is a fair description.

T-sip alert.
Every post he's made has been about either 1) the weakness of the conference or 2) A&M.

Well neither Texas A&M or Mizzou have won a SEC Championship yet, so by your logic they are still losers?

I think he's a Longhorn. He seems to have forgotten the beat down Texas experienced at the hands of Ole Miss.

Henry-I agree the Big 12 stinks. You are making my point. Thanks.

I just asked a reasonable, simple question. All the venom in the responses speaks volumes.

Name a single team in the Big 12 besides Kansas that is clearly worse than Tenn, Kentucky, Mizzu, Vandy, Miss St, Ole Miss, aTm Arky or Auburn. That's 9 teams that would be Big 12 bottom dwellers. SEC blows after the top few.
Oh, that's funny.

So Mizzou played nobody, only won when other teams lost and only gets recruits because they're in the sec. Ok.

Anyone who thinks the A&M team last year with JFF and Sumlin's Offense was the same team as the A&M team from 2011 with Sherman is a fricking idiot

SEC wannabes. Obviously, since they spend their time on the SECrant. I know I wouldnt bother going to a Big12 rant even if I were doing so just to talk shite.

Mizzou did not have a losing conference record in its last 7 years of Big 12 membership. They went to a bowl game all 7 of those years, won their division 3x, and won 10+ games 3x.

During that span, they were 35-22 in Big 12 play. So far they are 9-7 in the SEC. I think that's about what was expected going in.

A&M was about .500 in its history of Big 12 play; their 10-6 SEC mark so far may be a little better than people expected, but JFF is the main reason behind that.

I have been non accusatory here and genuinely sought answers to how Big 12 teams could succeed instantly in the SEC when most thought there would be a learning curve before they caught up. So far, the only answer I have seen is that being in the SEC helps recruiting. That makes sense if their success has been a result of players recruited since leaving the Big 12. JFF was not a product of SEC recruiting.

move to the SEC and instantly have success.

Meh.

A&M has a Heisman winner and goes 10-6 (.625), in two seasons Missouri has only played one game vs Alabama, Auburn and LSU (Big6/2), and lost - badly.

Sumlin has been winning with Sherman's players and the attrition is beginning to show.

Mizzou on the other hand plays in a division that is worse than the Big 12 and will shite the bed in the championship game (as they always do).

And the Big 12 has how many championships in the last 7 years?

You're right! the Big 12 IS as good as the SEC!

Texas is tied for the Big 12 lead and Ole Miss beat the crap out of them!

That would be an Ole Miss team that lost 5 games, all of them against SEC teams.

Texas. Seriously?

44-23 Ole Miss. Missouri would spank you as would Texas A&M, South Carolina, Georgia, LSU, Alanbama, Auburn, etc.

Texas would place 9th in the SEC.
