After beating Clemson I'm really not stressing the ATM loss. What a game. At the level we are playing another SECCG berth is inevitable.
Fumbled my way into field passes tonite. Got some great stuff I'll post tmrw.
Go cocks!

Agreed. Especially when you consider we have 4 scholarship seniors and return the entire offense minus Shaw and Patrick.
Secondary could be an adventure early in the year replacing both CBs but with Elder and Williams as the starting safeties it shouldn't be too bad. I'd rather replace both starting corner than both starting safeties

This was a GREAT season for only have 4 Sr's. We're loseing 2 Key DL and 2 CB's next year, but that's it really. Patrick was a good OG, but we have depth at OL.
Our defense is going to really need 4-6 guys to step up next year that we didn't talk about a lot this year. The good news is that our entire LB depth is coming back, and they were in this situation to start the year, but now are turning into a Top Tier unit.

I did for like 10 mins after Mizzou won and thought about our UT loss, but then I went back to celebrating 5 straight.
It's awesome how we have just completely dominated Clemson during this streak. All double digit wins. We own this state.

This season has been somewhat of a disappointment to me because I expected us to go 11-1 during the regular season. It would have worked-out perfectly but for the loss in Knoxville, and because of that I find the win yesterday to be somewhat anticlimactic and the season somewhat disappointing.
Plus, we're going to face Duke in the Peach Bowl it would appear, with little chance to move-up in the final polls thanks to the lack of a quality opponent in the bowl .... we'll be a 21 pt favorite.

Not being in Atlanta definitely hurts.
But beating Clemson is always a fantastic end to the year. Consider it a safety net of sorts.

Can anyone explain to me why we are seeing Clemson being projected for a BCS bowl?

Because they play in the Athletically Challenged Conference, where even Duke can play for the championship.

Because FSU is more than likely going to the NC and that means the ACC has to replace their pick with somebody from that dogshit conference

And they won't pick duke because they wouldn't sell out the ticket allotment while Clemmy would?

Would be really interesting to see what happens if Duke could somehow win...
Does an 11-1 record guarantee a second spot for the ACC (be it FSU or Clemson)? I can't really see leaving FSU out given how they have played all year, but it would be entertaining to see the debate about their "deserving" a BCS bowl coming from, arguably, the weakest conference in the country.

I think FSU would still go to the NCG if they lost to Duke.
Wasn't it Oklahoma in 2003 that lost their championship game and then still played So Cal for the BCSNC?

Really? Even over a one loss SEC champ, neither of whom have lost in a good while?
Don't get me wrong, if it was actually the two best teams like it was supposed to be then it should be FSU vs Alabama no matter what happens next week. Those are hands down the two best teams in the country and that would be a great game to watch.
