Then I hope he's prepared to be second fiddle for the rest of his life. Dude needs to cut the chord with Saban. If he wants an easy success job, go to Marshall or some lower level school and toil around for a few years before moving up. If Nebraska offers, he'd be a fool to decline.

At some point, he's got to think about taking the risk. There's no guarantee that he'll get Bama or UGA job in the future, which I think are the two that he "thinks he can succeed at." He's not getting a job at UF, UT, LSU, or FSU anytime soon. I guess USCe is a possibility, but he's severely limiting his options of he keeps holding out.

So he is going to constantly ride the coat tails of other coaches would you not want to make your own statement as a head ball coach
