He's managing the game as a whole, from what I figure.

Making calls on whether to go for it on 4th and 1; clock management; the decision to go for a FG or a TD; arguing with the refs; and making executive decisions during critical moments. They also are the head cheerleader and enforcer when the players aren't doing what they should be doing.

I understand his role during the game. My question was directed to his daily activities.
