Truly the (almost) end of an era. I've cursed AM's name more time than I can remember but I'll be damned if he didn't leave everything on the field. DGD if I've ever seen one.

Absolutely. Aaron Murray, all things considered, is my favorite Georgia player of all time. Like Stafford, who was arguably the most talented UGA QB to date, Murray never won a SECC due to lack of supporting defense. Regardless, Aaron has won the hearts if not minds of millions of Georgia fans.

I agree. I have been on AM in the past for poor performances when we needed him to show up, but this year he has left it all on the field. Saturday was a gutsy performance. Its a shame he doesn't have a defense worth a damn, but he is definitely going to be remembered as an all time great. I wish I could see his last game in Sanford Stadium on Saturday, but I'm sure there will be one hell of a tribute and a ton of great memories to re-live

I have bashed Murray on more than one occasion and even cursed his name walking out of Williams Bryce in 2012...but the guy is a gamer. No one can deny that he brought a lot to UGA even without a NT.I'm gonna miss that little shite and I wish him nothing but the best.

nice letter..DGD for sure...would much rather have that kind of ambassador for UGA than a Johnny Football or Scam Newton that makes the school look foolish

I'm sure a lot of y'all caught the AU-Dirty-Hits-on-Murray highlight reel during the game on Saturday.
That kid has been walloped a lot of the years. He's the definition of a DGD.

I usually skip the meaningless games but this year I will be there just to say goodbye to this fine young man. I will be on the front row at the Dawg Walk to take his photo. I also will have my program from the WLOCP and will ask him to autograph it. Then I will build a small case for it and give it to my grandson for Christmas.
I wish Aaron all the best in life and send him my thanks for all he has meant to The University Of Georgia.

Good write-up but it is sad to think about it.
AM is one of my all-time favorites and a DGD. I miss him already.

The bottom line is he is a DGD all the way. He has had some bad luck, like that stupid arse lucky pass that rejected criminal throwup that we ejected threw Saturday night. Yea, I'm still a little pissed. I hope AM shreds UK, the bugs and who ever we play in a bowl and I hope he makes $50 mill off the NFL and breaks a ton of records. Best wishes man! GO DAWGS!!

I share the same sentiments as most here. Throughout his time here, I hated him because of the stigma of not being able to win the big games (which was largely true his first 3 years here). This year though, he turned over a leaf. He won the big games, regardless of the horrendous defense. This Saturday should have gone down as one of the greatest comebacks in UGA history, but faltered due to defense. This season has earned AM a huge amount of respect and that is something that he should be able to hold his head high about.

Maybe he could come back one day and be Bobos assistant.
