Kennesaw State Owls: 24,600+ students
They had a whopping 3 wins last season. They already have one win on the season and they are standing at 1-3. They are coming off a 92-48 win over Warren Wilson. Their average margin of defeat so far this season has been 10.7 points.
They lost their leading scorer from last season (Markeith Cummings). But they return Delbert Love who averaged 12.2 PPG last season and is averaging 17.7 PPG currently.

Bundy..... How many SEC wins do you think Ray gets in his 2nd year?

I looked at their schedule. I guess they are A-SUN now. I didn't realize that. They also have Indiana, GT, and Cincinnati on the schedule.

I didn't realize how big their school was...they are growing quickly. They just merged with Southern Polytechnic to acquire their engineering programs.

Well there you go. We need to grow by acquiring other schools. Like Yahoo is doing these days. "MSU purchased MUW today for $47 a share pending SEC approval. Value of the deal was placed at $29 million dollars."

Not sure why we have not merged with MUW. It was recommended in 2009 or so. It would be good to get their nursing program.

Have to go to a different state for those MUW marriages.

I'm I totally out of line for thinking we won't have a total crapfest of the season this year?
I'd be disappoint if we don't make it to at least NIT. ....Thoughts?
I have faith in RR.

We are and will be improved but we still lack depth and size that is needed to compete in the SEC. Also with more mid majors being rewarded for regular season conference titles getting NIT bids its harder for a 17-13 SEC team to get in the NIT especially if they have a low RPI which we will have this season. See Arkansas last year.

May not be as bad as you think. A lot of college teams are playing without a true center at all these days. Certainly would have been a lot better if we still had Lewis but if Ware can stay out of foul trouble in most games and Borchert and RJohnson can defend and rebound some inside when Ware sits we should be OK.

Wonder if Wesley Morgan or Marcus Campbell have any eligibility left.

I tend to bump into this guy from time to time whether in Starkville, Jackson, or even Hattiesburg. Hard to Miss a 7'2" white guy.
