Why do South Carolina and LSU have to embarrass the SEC?

Both of your football teams are subpar to say the least and are only ranked based off name recognition. I mean LSU is 7-3 and were contenders for a national title. South Carolina had a can't miss DE prospect who was suppose to go number 1 overall and now looks like he should be selling peaches on the side of the freeway.
Tip-off of the basketball season and you guys are already dragging down the conference RPI. SEC teams always wonder why they're on the bubble come tournament time, and we can thank South Carolina and LSU for not handling the non-conference portion of their schedules. South Carolina losing to Baylor is abysmal, the zone defense they run can be carved up by South Carolina State. LSU a "contender for an SEC championship loses to UMASS from the A10! Will these two programs please get it together
