Lets just cut through the bole shite:

A&M Non Conference:

Rice (6-3) "New" Conference USA
Sam Houston (8-2) Southland
SMU (3-5)
UTEP (1-8)

Mizzou Non Conference:
Murray State (5-5)
Toledo (6-3) MAC *two loses to SEC
Indiana (4-5) Big 10 *nonconference road game
Arkansas ST (5-4) 2nd in sun belt * loses to Auburn, Mizzou, Memphis, and leader in Sun belt most loses to power conference teams

Advantage Non Conference

Mizzou > A&M

A&M conference
Alabama 49-42L
Arkansas 45-33W
Ole Miss 41-38W
Auburn 45-41 L
Vandy 56- 24W
MSU 51-41W

Mizzou Conference
Vandy 51-28 W on the road
Georgia 41-26W on the road before they were completely crippled
Florida 36-17W
USCe 27-24L
UT 31-3 W
Kentucky 48-17

Advantage conference schedule

A&M VS. Vandy = Mizzou VS. Vandy
Arkansas < Tennessee
MSU > Kentucky
Georgia = Auburn
Mizzou still plays Ole MISS TBD
Alabama > Florida

After looking at the conference schedules it is obvious that both teams have faced similar completion. However in the games that A&M faced competition ranked higher they lost both games. Mizzou managed to beat Georgia when they were ranked 7th much higher than we were at the time. Florida, and South Carolina were also ranked when we faced them. The bottom of the barrel teams are pretty much the same. Add to the fact that A&M is not dominating their competition like Mizzou has managed to do winning games by much more than A&M has, and giving up less points in the process.

Until the game is played between A&M and Mizzou the conference advantage is either slightly to Mizzou or a draw

Only wins are over Indiana State, Bowling Green, Penn State, and Illinois.

Lost to Navy

Oh, and SMU is AAC (Zombie Big East) and will finish with more wins (5) than Indiana will (4). Their non-conference losses were to TCU, Texas Tech, A&M, and Fresno State.

Georgia = Auburn

GTFO with that nonsense.

I would not be arguing either of those OOC schedules, They both blow.

Auburn + Alabama > South Carolina
Who cares about the rest on the list?

TAMU has to play LSU and Mizzou does not.
TAMU wins this debate, not even close.

The numbers:
Sagarin SoS to date:

Mizzou: 36
A&M: 51

Remaining opponents: each other and LSU for A&M (7-3) and Ole Miss for Mizzou (6-3). Mizzou will in all likelihood finish with a higher SoS than A&M.
