I wouldn't normally think of doing this but I feel compelled to defend Georgia. They have been, and will continue to be, a far better program than Clemson.

Clemson, occasionally, appears to be a good program because they play in the ACC. If Clemson played in the SEC they would be more comparable to what the mizzerites are at the moment and probably always will be. shite talkers.

Seriously, think about it. Clemson/Mizzou ... pretty much the same sort of lulz ilk stuff going-on all the time. Overrated. Not really southern, not really yankees, just sort of tweeners with no identity and tons of insecurities. Always living in the past. Racking up wins against lesser teams each season only to have their hopes dashed, their dreams crippled, by the Gamecocks.

Thread is an insult to the good UGA fans around here. OP should kill herself.

Spot on IMO. Both programs haven't won a title in 30 years and have shitty fan bases.

I do believe that as well.

But, and I use that lightly. Clemson is getting better.

It is not the old Clemson program anymore.

Both fan bases are obnoxious and think of themselves as better than they really are.

The mirage that is Clemson "getting better" is simply this friend:

Right now they have the offensive talent that Chad Morris has been able to work-well-with to make an impact if all of the stars are aligned - which they have been to some extent. When Morris leaves, when they have to make the trip to Athens, when Tahj and Watkins are gone ... the house of cards will crumble.

Dabo has the highest paid coaching staff in America with both coordinators making over a million a year. Morris will be gone after this season - he's a decent talent. Brett Venables is both overrated and overpaid. Robbie Caldwell as their OLine coach ... now he was a great get but Caldwell is likely to go wherever Morris lands.

Georgia competes at a much higher level year-in and year-out. Clemson is all about smoke and mirrors while living off of minor upset wins from time to time like the one against LSU in the Peach last year (Miles' fault) or the one against UGA this year (homefield first game advantage) ... people quickly forget the record mudholing WVA put on them just recently.

Looking at it that way I suppose I can see why you would type that "Clemson is getting better," but still, did you watch the whooping FSU put on Clemson in taterville this season? They're not really getting better - not really - it just looks that way some times. It's a mirage.

I understand all the above but Clemson has done well against the SEC (other than you guys) in the past few years

2-1 against Auburn
beat LSU last year
Beat UGA this year.

Like it or not, Clemson is a better team the past few years than they have been in the past.

2005 8-4
2006 8-5
2007 9-4
2008 7-6
2009 9-5
2010 6-7
2011 10-4
2012 11-2
2013 9-1

LOL...you ever wonder whyRicht has no champyunships? All of his players leave for the NFL with one more year eligibility left. UGA players have no loyalty to the university.

Which is why Murray is about to have a 2-1 record at Auburn. And a 3-1 record against AU.

Of course, guys leave early for the NFL paycheck. I would as well. Check out twitter post game. There will be plenty of NFL Dawgs jabbing the dagger into Auburn's wound just a little more.

I put UGA's record on the right from the same time span. We have been a far better program than Clemson since Richt took over. Not even close, really.

Richt's chance at a Natty was last year and he couldn't get it done.

You not only have to win, but be lucky and have others lose to get in the spot.
