Hope so. If LSU only scores 17, then this is likely a two TD victory for Alabama.

If Mettenberger passes for around 300 yards we'll win

I think that going into last year's game, it looked like Bama's defensive gameplan was to force Mettenberger to beat them through the air, and Mett really stepped up big.
This year, there should be more focus on slowing down LSU's passing game, so it will be interesting to see what Miles and Cameron decide to do on offense, especially with an extra week of prep

If Nussmeier only rushes 25 times in this game again, he should be unemployed Sunday.
I hate to be "that guy", but if Bama loses this game it will be most likely because Nussmeier reverts back to his softer PAC-12 side and runs shotgun 4-wide all night. He lost us the A&M game last year and tried his damnedest to lose the LSU and SECCG games by not running the ball. LSU is Charming soft up the middle.

Did I hear on one of our past Bama v LSU game broadcasts that the team that rushes for more yards, has won more often?

Damn, Bama only converted one third down?

It's gonna be a nailbiter. It may come down to who makes the critical mistake and when, or it may be who has the ball last. Regardless, I just hope it's a clean game and no one even see's the ref's.
