Alabama has an outstanding law school...according to the Princeton Review even more selective than Vanderbilt. Auburn doesn't even have a law school. So if you live in Alabama and want to go into law, where are you more likely to go for your pre-law undergrad program...Alabama, or a university that doesn't even have a law school?

Again, this is how different statistics can be used. More selective, ok. Do you really think they're comparable? Vanderbilt destroys Alabama's law school, and is much more difficult to get into.

Of course, Alabama does have a good law school, but I wanted to get that out for clarity.

As for program differences, Auburn is probably at a disadvantage in a state traditionally controlled by one side of this rivalry. I don't think Auburn simply elected not to have X program, I'm sure not competing with the major law program in the state has a lot to do with it. It does in every state.

Probably true, but plenty of people go to AU for 4 years then go to better law schools than Alabama. I know this as I had friends do so. Not sure if that is the most efficient route, but I know people who have done it.
