the Strip's shitty generic college town cafe (The Crimson Cafe) has been replaced by a seafood restaurant called Steamers. Good food I hear, looking to check it out.

Alcove is a solid bar if you enjoy Southern craft beer and a mellow atmosphere. It is downtown but not really close to the other bars.

Id also recommend Moe's for eating and drinking. The Gray Lady is a good bar for the older crowd (late 20s+). It is close to Mugshots.

My favorite place to eat downtown is Tagoci. Its a Japanese burrito place(ex: Teriyaki Chicken, fried rice, shrimp sauce, cheese, wrapped into a burrito. Trust me, its good. Moderately priced too.

Waysider may not be worth the wait for breakfast. Id probably just go chain if I were a visiting fan(There is a new Dunkin Donuts downtown).

Lastly, T-Town Cafe has a GREAT bacon pimento cheese burger. Ill just leave it at that. They serve breakfast too.
