Interesting question - yes and no. No b/c it's a popularity contest and yes because you have players like Johnny Douchebag who are truly the most exciting player in the league.

I've always had an issue with players who win the Heisman with losses for the season, but it's hard to dispute that players like JFF/Mariota are able to change the game by himself. Guys like that are very rare and deserve the credit....even though he's a douche.

I know it's homer but ESPN got Woodson his heistman, he was a good player but Manning deserved it.

I think he should just go ahead and change his name to "Johnny Manziel, even though he's a douche". He seems destined to have that qualifier follow him.

This is so dumb. Wins and losses are a TEAM stat. If a rb run for 260 yards and 3 tds but his TEAM lost, you would hold that against him?
