Our guys just dug a hole we couldn't climb out of. I would like for the game to have been played as well as each team could play. That didn't happen. LSU is a good team. Our guys played them toe-to-toe for three quarters. In the end, LSU played better than Auburn and deserved that W.

Your assumption that Auburn would win today is based on LSU losing a game it shouldn't have because it didn't play as well as it could play.
