Well, I am going to my first Mizzou basketball game in a LONG time. I was just wondering where you guys park. I really don't want to spend an arm and a leg for parking. Don't care to walk. I will be at the game on November 12 against SIU. If there are free places to park kind of close to the stadium, that would be nice. Thanks.

You can normally park in the VA Hospital parking lot for free, but last year there were a few games where they had it blocked off. That's definitely the closest free parking. Otherwise most of the garages are free except for maryland maybe. Virginia Ave and Turner are not a bad walk at all.

I haven't been to a game at Mizzou Arena since the Anderson years, but I parked for free back then in the lot south of Faurot Field, at the bottom of the hill on Champions Drive. I've also parked for free in the lot to the West of Faurot Field and then just cut through the lot south of the stadium and walked up Champions Drive.

EDIT: For all I know, I wasn't allowed to park there, but I never had any problems...

Thanks guys. Ya, this is the first game I've went to since we have moved to IL. Last game I went to, we still lived in MO and I was like 12. lol. Thanks for the help guys!

A free shuttle runs right up to the arena and it last year the lot wasn't full against UF and the year before against Baylor. Drops you off right next to the arena and takes you back after the game.
