I agree. But when somebody tells the kid to kill himself, that's bad. I understand he recieved a bunch of positive tweets and that is awesome. I understand it is social media, but to tell someone to kill themselves is very unacceptable. I seen an article where some of the guys from Jackass tweeted at him.

I think they were over the top. It is not 100% this kids fault. He is a student athlete. This kind of disrespect towards a student athlete, from our own fans is not right. Thats my rant. Would be interested to hear other people's thoughts on this

I agree with you on that. The point I was trying to make is, he needs to learn that he CAN'T do that anymore. I think there is potential, and think we will dig into him and find it.

Heres my opinion. The kid has potential. Obviously Pinkel saw something in him when he recruited him. I don't think he have the time to really dig into this kid and get his potential out. I think with some work, he will be fine. However, Franklin is a better quarterback and we need him back as soon as we can.

Also, another thing with Mauk. This kid can't feel pressure coming, drop back, and run back 9 yards. IMO, that is what screwed us out of some crucial field position that could have lead to points.

I am not going to be harsh on this kid. He is young. I think he is going to be fine in a year or two.

I do not like Mauk. I think he has potential. But, I don't think he will be where he needs to be this year. Takes too many risks. Next year could be better, and should be better. Also, our WR's dropped some balls that shouldn't have been dropped. But, oh well. Like I always say, I wasn't on the field and would give anything to be on the field. Got to pick up our heads and move on. Can't let it linger.
I agree with the call. In my opinion, or offense struggled tonight. The WR's dropped some balls that should have been caught. Mauk made some bone-head throws and get lucky a few times they didn't get picked. But, the games over. There is nothing we can do now, but shake this game off. Pick up our heads, and prepare for UT next week. I don't like Mauk being the QB. I think there is potential there, he just needs some work. Call me stupid, but that is my opinion. Hopefully this team doesn't sit on this game for too long and let it mess with their heads and come out next week and lose their next game.

We should beat TN. But like you said SEMO, if we have this game stuck in our head, the same thing will happen tonight. I don't like Mauk at the helm. I really don't. I see potential, but don't think we will be able to dig in deep enough with him with what time we have left. We didn't look like the Mizzou team that has taken the field in the first 7 games. I think we can agree with that. There were balls that were dropped that shouldn't have. I felt like our line did a great job blocking Clowney, but left the door wide open for other players on their D-line. Mauk has to learn to throw the ball away and not get sacked for -9 yards.

Call me crazy, call me stupid. That's just my opinion as a fan. We all think differently about the game, and this game especially. But I think we all can agree that we need to come out next week and look better than we did tonight.

I dont think we can blame anybody individually. Win as a team, lose as a team. I think its safe to say, we struggled offensively. The WR's dropped balls that should have been caught and Mauk taking 9 yard sacks? We can't be doing that or we will lose the rest of the games we have left. Bottom line is, we need to shake this game off. The team needs to get motivated next week at practice and not let this happen again.

im just gonna sit back, hold on, and enjoy the ride. i can't change what happens on the field. if it was up to me, mizzou would have won that game 100-0. but, SC played hard and got a little help from Mizzou shooting themselves in the foot. i dont blame Pinkel for giving the ball to Josey on that 3rd&2. But, some of you disagree and thats fine. Lets just hope this team can rally around one another, pick their heads up, and go out and win next week.

I wouldn't say we are in the driver's seat. We still cant play frick frick and lose another game.

Tonights game.

Losing sucks. But, this team has exceeding expectations. We can't let this loss linger around and frick up and lose more games. I know you are all pissed, and I am too. But, there is still a lot of football to be played. BTW, when is Franklin supposed to return?

My high school football coach always told us in the locker room, "Don't be satisfied". What he meant by that is, don't be satisfied by meeting expectations or doing one game better than what you did last year. I hope Mizzou is not satisfied by doing better than they did last year and surpassing everyones expectations of this year. I hope over the remaining games and they are hungrier than ever to get a W. As a fan, I am very pleased with they way this team has performed and I am very excited to see how this team keeps its composure and comes out and plays week by week. Go get that W Mizzou.

I don't know what to think about this game. I haven't seen much of South Carolina. I do know this about them, they are inconsistent for the most part. Who knows what team is going to show up for them. Hope it is the team that played UK and not the team that played Arkansas. I hope the Zou comes out and plays great football and I know that place will popping. Hopefully the Zou gets the W. Great streak we have going and want to see it continue.

My prediction for the game:

A team from the SEC East wins, that is from Columbia, and their coach wears a visor.

Well, I am going to my first Mizzou basketball game in a LONG time. I was just wondering where you guys park. I really don't want to spend an arm and a leg for parking. Don't care to walk. I will be at the game on November 12 against SIU. If there are free places to park kind of close to the stadium, that would be nice. Thanks.

Lol. I like how Missouri gets little to no respect still. But, oh well. I am enjoying the season and will continue to enjoy the season regardless of what the "experts" say. I'm also very interested to see how our basketball team will be this year.
