Before that (I want to say like 1999 or 2000) there was a Busch series car driven by Elliot Sadler that had some sponsorship support from Starter. They ran a few college paint schemes when they were near that school - Auburn design at Talladega, a Maryland design either at Richmond or Dover. I want to say there were a couple of others.

Also, in 2004, there was a student at Auburn that drove a few ARCA races, including one at Atlanta, and his car was all Auburn. They even made some diecasts of it.
